Transferring ownership of your project
You can transfer your LTX Studio project by assigning someone else the role of Owner (click Share in the top-right corner of a project). This gives them full control over the project, including the ability to remove your access. This feature is available on Pro and Team plans.
How to transfer ownership
- Open the project you want to transfer.
- Click Share in the top-right corner.
- Enter the person's email and assign them the Owner role.
- Click Invite.
- [Optional] If you no longer need access yourself, the new Owner can remove you from the project via their Share panel at any time.

Warning: You might not get your project back
Once someone else is an Owner, they can remove your access permanently. If they're on a plan that doesn't support collaborators, they won't be able to re-add you. Before assigning someone else as an Owner, make sure you trust the person you're assigning it to, or agree to being removed as an Owner yourself.
Who can transfer ownership?
To assign an Owner role, both of these things must be true:
- You're already an Owner on the project.
- You're on a Pro or Enterprise team plan.
Can there be more than one Owner?
Yes, but be cautious that both can revoke the other's Owner role at any time. We recommend joint-ownership for team members or client work.
