How can I get more credits?
If you run out of LTX Studio credits before your monthly renewal date, your options include, waiting until your allowance resets, upgrading your plan to instantly get more credits, or buying a top-up (available on Pro++ only).
Understanding your credit allowance and renewal date
Every Lite, Standard, and Pro plan includes a credit allowance that resets on a specific date each month (even if you pay yearly). This date is known as your credits renewal date. For example, Lite users get 8,000 credits per month. If you run out early, you can either wait for your monthly reset or choose an upgrade to get more credits immediately.
Enterprise users
Enterprise credits don't reset monthly like other plans. If you're on your organization's annual Enterprise account and run out of credits, contact your organization's admin. Enterprise admins can reach out to their Account Manager or our Support team to expand the credit allowance.
How to get more credits, depending on your plan
If you're on a free plan
Free users don't have a monthly credit allowance. Some new accounts may get free credits to test the platform, but these are one-time and don't renew. After your free credits have run out, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan to generate more. Find out more about the free plan.
If you're on the Lite plan
Lite users get 8,000 monthly credits. If you run out early, your options are:
- Upgrade to Standard or Pro for a bigger monthly allowance, plus more models and features.
- Wait for your credits to reset on your renewal date.
If you're on a Standard plan
Standard users get 28,000 monthly credits. If you run out early, your options are:
- Upgrade to a higher credit subtier. Standard offers three subtiers (Standard, Standard+, Standard++). Each includes the same features, but higher subtiers give more monthly credits.
- Upgrade to Pro for an even larger monthly allowance than Standard++, plus access to more features and models.
- Wait for your credits to reset on your renewal date.
Upgrading to a higher subtier
To upgrade to a higher subtier, you need to first subscribe to the base tier of that plan. For example, to subscribe to the Pro++ plan, you'll need to first purchase the Pro plan, then visit the account upgrade page from within the app to purchase Pro++.
If you're on a Pro plan
Pro users get 110,000 monthly credits on the base subtier. If you run out early, your options are:
- Upgrade to a higher credit subtier. Pro offers three subtiers (Pro, Pro+, Pro++). Each includes the same features, but higher subtiers give more monthly credits.
- Purchase one-time top-ups (Pro++ only). Buy extra credits in 20k batches whenever you need them. This is only available for Pro++ users who have no upgrade options left – you'll see a popup in the app once you've run out.
- Wait for your credits to reset on your renewal date.

Do credits still reset every month, if I pay for a yearly plan?
Yes. All users on Lite, Standard, and Pro plans have monthly credits, whether you're billed monthly or yearly.
I need to finish a project now, but don't want to upgrade my whole plan. Do you offer one-time top-ups?
We only offer one-time top-ups for Pro++ users who've maxed out their credits and can't upgrade further. If you're not yet on the Pro++ plan and need more credits instantly, your options are to upgrade to a higher plan (e.g. Lite to Standard) or subscribe to a higher credit subtier (e.g. Pro to Pro+).
Can I upgrade my plan for one month and then downgrade again?
Yes! If you pay monthly, you can flexibly upgrade and downgrade to match your output.
