Uninstall LTX Desktop
To uninstall LTX Desktop, remove the app and optionally delete the app data folder, which contains downloaded model files (~160GB).
macOS
- Open Finder and go to the Applications folder.
- Drag LTX Desktop to the Trash, or right-click and select Move to Trash.
- Empty the Trash.
To remove app data and downloaded model files as well:
- Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, and go to
~/Library/Application Support/. - Delete the LTXDesktop folder.
This removes your local model files
Deleting the LTXDesktop app data folder removes the downloaded model files. If you reinstall later, LTX Desktop will re-download them on first launch.
Windows
- Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps (Windows 11) or Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program (Windows 10).
- Find LTX Desktop in the list and select Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstall prompts.
To remove app data and downloaded model files as well:
- Open File Explorer and navigate to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\LTXDesktop\. - Delete the entire folder.
This removes your local model files
Deleting the LTXDesktop app data folder removes the downloaded model files. If you reinstall later, LTX Desktop will re-download them on first launch.
