Install LTX Desktop on macOS
LTX Desktop runs on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later) with macOS 13 or later. Generation on macOS uses LTX API mode, so an LTX API key is required to generate video.
How to install
- Download the macOS installer.
- Open the
.dmgfile and drag LTX Desktop to your Applications folder. - Open LTX Desktop from Applications.
- If macOS shows a security prompt, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
What happens on first launch
On first launch, LTX Desktop will prompt you to enter an LTX API key. This is required for generation on Mac. The app may also download additional components during setup — keep your Mac connected to the internet until setup completes.
Troubleshooting launch errors
If the app fails to open or shows an error on launch, see Fix errors when starting or installing LTX Desktop.
