Why can't I rename my Element?
Element names are currently fixed once an Element is created. If you need a different name, the quickest workaround is to recreate the Element with the new name and delete the old one.
Elements are available on Standard, Pro, and Enterprise plans.
Can I edit the name of my Element?
Not currently. Each Element is assigned an internal identifier at the moment it's created, tied to the label you gave it.
You can still delete, download, or update the reference images of an Element after it's created.
How to rename an Element right now
While it's not possible to rename directly, you can work around it by recreating the Element with the new name.
- Create a new Element
- Give it your updated name
- Delete the old Element to avoid confusion
Your Element name is just a label for your own reference and helps you identify the Element when tagging it in a prompt. It doesn't affect what gets generate, so any name that's recognizable to you works fine.
