Troubleshooting SSO login issues

Issues with users logging in via SSO? This article covers the most common errors and fixes for organization IT admins setting up SSO and individual employees logging in for the first time.

Setting up SSO for the first time

All existing enterprise teams have been contacted to make the switch to SSO. Refer to the setup instructions you've already received, or contact your LTX team contact directly if you can't locate them.

Interested in Enterprise?

If your team is on a Pro plan, upgrading to Enterprise unlocks SSO, brand kits, team collaboration, org-wide credits, advanced scaling tools, and more.

How to log in with SSO

Once SSO has been set up, and all users enabled:

  1. Visit the LTX Studio app.
  2. On the sign in page, click Sign in with SSO and enter your work email.
  3. Click Continue. You'll be redirected to sign in with your organization.
  4. Once you log in, you'll be automatically redirected back to LTX Studio.

SSO login error messages

Error messages seen by individual end users when they sign in with SSO.

Error message Solution
"Your organization does not have SSO enabled" SSO setup, including DNS domain validation, likely hasn't been completed yet. Your IT admin can finish this in the admin portal — refer to the setup guide provided by LTX for instructions.
"Post login failed"

This is usually a configuration mismatch on your identity provider side. Ask your IT admin to check that:

  1. the audience Entity ID in the identity provider is set to "lightricks";
  2. and the Public Certificate in the admin portal starts with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----.
"User not signed up" You may not have been added to the organization yet. Ask your IT admin to invite you to the platform, then try logging in again.

“Your administrator has configured the application to block users unless they are specifically granted access.” (Microsoft)

or “User is not assigned to the client application.” (Okta)

or “You are not assigned to this application.” (Okta)

You can only log in to LTX via SSO once your admin has granted you access. If you see this message, contact your IT admin to request SSO login permissions.

Admin tasks

Issues typically encountered by IT admins or users who need to involve their admin.

Problem Solution
Can't find the page to configure SSO The SSO admin portal (lightricks.us.frontegg.com/oauth/portal/) is separate from the LTX platform (app.ltx.studio). Make sure you're in the right place.
Can't invite a new team member Only organization admins can invite users. If a new team member needs access, ask an existing admin to invite them and/or update their SSO permissions.

If you still need help

If you're an IT admin having trouble with your SSO configuration or adding users, follow these steps to escalate your problem to the right person:

  1. Document the issue, including any error messages and steps taken so far.
