Understanding LTX-2 API Pricing
LTX-2 API pricing is credit-based and calculated by the duration of your generated video. Purchase credits through our developer console, and each API call automatically deducts the cost from your balance based on the length of the video you create.

How API pricing works
The LTX-2 API uses a credit-based system. Here's the basic flow:
- Create an API key in the developer console
- Add credits to your account through the console
- Make API calls to generate videos
- Credits are automatically deducted from your balance with each generation
- Monitor your usage directly in the console
Your credit balance persists across all your API calls until depleted. You can add more credits anytime through the console.
Cost calculation: duration, not generation time
The cost of generating a video is based on the output video duration in seconds, not how long the generation takes to process.
For example, if the cost is $0.04 per second and you generate a 20-second video:
- 20 seconds × $0.04 = $0.80 total cost
This applies regardless of how quickly or slowly the video renders. You're paying for the length of the final video you receive.
Factors affecting pricing
Several factors determine the cost of each API call:
- Model type: Different models (like ltx-fast and ltx-pro) have different per-second rates. Higher-fidelity models cost more but deliver enhanced visual quality.
- Resolution: Higher resolution outputs (up to 4K) cost more per second than lower resolutions.
- Generation type: Image-to-video (i2v), text-to-video (t2v), and retake mode each have different pricing structures.
You can experiment with different combinations in the API Playground to find the right balance of speed, quality, and cost for your project. Check the pricing page for specific rates across all options.
