How does API billing work?

The LTX API uses a credit-based billing system. You pre-purchase credits and each API call deducts from your balance based on the duration of the video generated.

How credits work

Before making API calls, you add credits to your account in the Developer Console. Each generation deducts from your balance automatically — there's no monthly bill or subscription. When your balance runs low, you top up manually or set up auto top-up.

Cost is based on output duration

You're charged per second of generated video. The longer the output, the more it costs — regardless of how long the generation takes to process. For current per-second rates, see What does the LTX API cost?

What affects the cost

  • Model tierltx-2-3-fast and ltx-2-3-pro have different per-second rates. Pro costs more and delivers higher-fidelity output.
  • Resolution — higher resolution (up to 4K) costs more per second.
  • Generation type — text-to-video, image-to-video, and audio-to-video each have their own rates.

Monitoring your usage

You can check your current balance and review past usage at any time in the Usage section of the Developer Console.

API billing vs. Studio plans

API credits are purchased and managed separately from LTX Studio subscriptions. Having a Studio plan doesn't include API access — the two billing systems are independent.
